Kidd make sure their 4 children learn as much as they can about Russia and it’s history. The family helped capture art thieves in Italy, but are soon jetting north of Russia to hunt some more treasure and help capture those behind one of the biggest art heists in history. Storm then sits down and quickly spouts off details about The Enlightened Ones, a group who is known for stealing artwork and masterpieces. Mr Kidds had been trying to get more information from them, with no luck. At one point she gets to help questions the criminals they just helped put behind bars. Storm, on of the Kidd children happens to have a photographic memory and is very useful when it comes to instantly remembering licence plate or codes. It’s also brave, but that doesn’t stop it from being dumb or dangerous.” They soon get a call from their Mom, “ What you’re doing is extremely dumb and dangerous. Their Mom and Dad where chained up to a pole so they took matters into their own hands and jumped in the back. The put themselves in some pretty dangerous situations, for example in the first part of the book Bick and Beck jump into the back of a van that has just stolen a mummy. The Kidds are a spy family who work together to save artwork and priceless Egyptian antiquities. Yet at the same time doing a great job of teaching about the history and ancient artwork. His books are current and fun for the kids, talking about things like Minions and Instagram.
My oldest daughter takes he book to bed with her at night so she can read it, but for my younger kids we snuggle up on the couch and they enjoy listening as I read out loud to them. But honestly kids of all ages (even adults) will enjoy them.
His books are funny and perfect for middle school aged children. James Patterson has written more #1 best sellers for kids than any other living author. If you have not heard of him, you are missing out. My kids and I have enjoyed other James Patterson books so we were excited to read more.
